Greetings from the Spring 2006 AH Leaders!

President - Brooke Moore

Brooke is a senior sociology student who works with UNT's Educational Consortium for Volunteerism.  She is looking forward to graduating this Spring with her American Humanics Certificate, Certificate in Volunteer Management as well as a minor in Leadership of Community and Nonprofit Management.  In her spare time she enjoys sharing time with her husband and two dogs in the great outdoors.

Vice President - Allie Hallmark

Allie is a senior Political Science major with a minor in Women's Studies she plans to graduate with an American Humanics Certificate in Non Profit Management and take her skills and experience into the non-profit world.  She currently is an intern with Planned Parenthood of North Texas in the Community Relations office.

"With my certificate I believe I will be one step ahead in such areas as fundraising, conflict management, and marketing of nonprofits."

Secretary - Alex Williams

Alex is a Junior sociology major interested in pursuing graduate work in Public Administration.  His goal is a career in nonprofit management.

Treasurer - Betty Wan

Betty is a senior Sociology student with a minor in music and business foundations.  In her spare time she enjoys cooking, staying active, and playing the viola.

2007 AHMI Representative - Amy Wan

Amy is a senior with a Behavior Analysis major and a minor in Human

Services.  She is also pursuing the American Humanics Non-profit Certificate and the Volunteer Management Certificate.  In her free time, she enjoys bike riding, volunteering, baking, and shopping for the best bargain.

Historian - Rachel Rachel

Rachel is new to both American Humanics and UNT.  After completing 1700 hours with City Year, an Americorps Program, in Spring 2007 she made her way from Little Rock to Denton.  While she isn't quite sure what her major is she knows she wants to make change and give back to the community.
