An analysis and review of the social evolution of contemporary volunteerism from revolutionary times to the present. Study of the current issues, definitions, and trends in the field of professional volunteer management. Introduction to volunteerism resources on the Internet and social systems supporting or limiting volunteerism. Students who have received credit for this course for undergraduate may not re-take it for graduate hours credit. See WebCT instructions.
